If we lose access to mexican or canadian petro (unlikely) we have plenty of oil here to last the next 100 years. Keystone may be a dream, but only if there is oil across the border. If there is not - That dream becomes a reality.
Its not the actual oil but the fact that its backed by the dollar. That's the main reason they took Ghaddafi out cuz he was moving to get away from the petro dollar. Putin is doing the same. If more countries do it the dollar is worthless. Yall might as well start rolling weed in your dollar bills

Putin lost the game because Russia's white collar productivity can't keep up with ours. That is why the Ruble sucks balls because it is dependent on one commodity meanwhile we have been diversified for almost 100 years already. The Dollar may be devalued somewhat but that doesn't change the legitimacy of our GDP. Unless all the big tech companies relocate to another country any time soon (they won't) we don't have to worry about dollar valuation because we are in a whole different ball game and no one market metric can define the U.S. as a nation economically.

Keep in mind I say this as I am looking to jump ship...The reality is any big country is not the best place to be in right now in the next 25-50 years. See China, Russia. India is mostly held down by dysfunctional culture and politics. Brazil is the only big country on the up and up in the next 100 years.

I agree. most of what Im sayin is speculation but its really what these countries want at the end of the day. They just don't really have the means to do it. The one thing about Putin is that he really doesn't give a fukk.

Its common knowledge breh. This country has spread itself thin with all the overseas markets and shyt. The only thing holding up the dollar at this point is that oil is traded with its backing

What I'm saying is... Give me the sources to read so I can see what battery is being put in your back to give you the confidence to speak on this subject as you do, pleigh bwoy. :jbhmm:

The average person only wants to be entertained and will only complain about meaningless shyt. Every year, the largest corporations in the country find loopholes to avoid paying taxes, which ultimately affects the state of the country since it's either more taxes (not happening) or budget cuts. This also causes the country to resort to borrowing at low interest rates in order to cover expenses. The average person doesn't care though. :yeshrug:
:ohhh: you post in HL? because if more post like this are in there, i might have to look at that forum a lot more

I usually look through, but no, I don't post there. My honest impression is that there are too many brehs who want to be "right" rather than have a discussion where there are multiple reasonable points, too many pseudo-intellectuals, and too many brehs who act like experts because they've read a few articles on a particular subject. :pachaha:There are solid posters though and, typically, interesting threads as well.

You should post more on these topics, if only HL was really for HL post :ehh: maybe in the future you can become a mod for that forum and fix it.
