Do "we" really need to take the Old Testament, or at least the judeocentricity in it seriously in 2023?

The first half NT is Jesus shooting himself in the foot trying to respect the jewish establishment from boyhood and telling the common jews he's the messiah, they ain't having it

Later he starts preaching to Gentiles too, he wouldn't have done that if he wanted to keep it kosher, he deadass just went like, "I'll heal y'all too, ain't nun "

And the first half came back too, the local jews had a chance to pardon a fellow jew from execution, they chose a robber instead of buddy

I would think Christ fulfilled his end of the bargain, but the jews rejected him, it's like me trying really hard to be platonic friends my with boy's ex

Use of prophecy out of context is akin to sorcery and generally not the best idea. Gods voice is of eternity so his prophecies should be handled with care.

are you their God? Whether you agree with Jews or Brahmins doesnt mean that it affects your relationship with God whatsoever. My faith starts with my relationship with God

so if you ask me how you should go about it is obviously read it for yourself, and speak to a priest or a rabbi or imam whoever you feel comfortable with exploring your faith.
