It’s amazing that five years have passed and he still kind of the same player from Duke.

I think he can be a good passer but why guard a guy who won’t take a shot 15 feet from the basket? It’s amazing too because the sport doesn’t miss him When he been famous for damn near a decade.

You too damn right.

I remember having a discussion with cats back in 2018 when they compared him to Shaq, and I couldn't fathom how they could compare the two. They thought his 6-7 self would just be as dominant inside, completely glossing over the fact that Shaq towered over nearly everyone and Zion is shorter than the majority of frontcourt players.

And while he definitely isn't on Bron's level as a playmaker, he still is a decent one, but the problem is, because he doesn't have any resemblence of an outside game, he can't utilize that part of his skillset properly. Teams don't treat him as a threat from the perimeter, and that shortens his scope for playmaking because he doesn't attract any attention when he's on the outside.

His game should've been remodelled the moment he came into the league, because now it's probably too late.

nikkas was comparin Zion to Shaq? :dahell: I always thought he was compared to Charles Barkley... Undersized but physical freaks of nature and special rare athletic talents with some handlin and passin.

Pelicans will always regret firing Stan Van Gundy

When Stan was the coach, Zion was the most effective his entire career. He played point guard, which was a huge advantage for him, and he at least attempted more mid-range shots on top of it. Then they fired Stan and Zion reverted back to the playing style he has now

Are you sure the undersized comp wasnt Draymond Green, since he can stop Kareem and all :troll:

One thing about Bron is that he never shied away from shooting.

Was lebron a serious shooting threat? Nah, but he was a willing shooter so he was less predictable
