6’8 365 lbs. dude moving like that is crazy and he got elite technique and high Football IQ. That’s an all-timer LT the Eagles got. The fact Lane Johnson additionally is the right tackle is outright insane.

Eagles and Detroit lines were absolutely crazy this year. They basically shoved teams up the field while slamming elite RB’s. Chiefs had a great one too when they had Eric Fisher.

Yeah. I have to disagree. Offensive linemen lack the skills and techniques that linemen in the previous 20 years have. What's happening is that today's linemen are better athletes but it may be another year maybe two before they acclimate to the defensive linemen of today.

Disagree. Think the overall skill level is lower because the position isn't being prioritized like it was in the past. Doesn't help that offensive schemes are trash because of the refusal to commit to the run, not allowing proper play-action and the overexposure and reliance of shotgun/pistol formation.

Huge reason the Bills got as far as we did. Not gonna act like I pay attention to more than 3 or 4 teams OL though lol

But Shotgun and Pistol makes it harder. Why pressure the line if they can't handle it?
It doesnt make it harder. They utilize the RB and TE to help pass protection. Your reasonings so far have been ass cheeks. nikka saw the philly line in the SB and ran to make this thread :mjlol:

I feel like it's the exact opposite.
its clearly the opposite

when a good tackle or a good center goes down, your line becomes an absolute sieve

there arent enough great olinemen and teams who have them generally will never let them go, unlike some other positions

The coli say the stupidest shyt.

NFL defense ain't even allowed to be no where close to ass aggressive and wild as in the past so the offense now has AN EXTREME advantage compared to the past. Every facet of offense actually underwhelming considering how much of an advantage it has to the defense compared to the past. Oline in the past compared to now was putting in major fukking work.
