Define "work related"
while you are doing a task on the job, if by faulty or unsecured equipment, if by an unsafe worksite... Had she injured herself because something was wrong with the actual stairs she might have a compensation case. Breh said she was just walking from the bathroom. That isn't a work related injury and neither does it have anything to do with the sites safety.

Getting workers comp isn't easy. Even if you are injured doing a task they will thoroughly investigate from labor board and sometimes a workplaces insurance goes up. Get injured on the job because you didn't wear a helmet when you needed one and you ain't getting comp most likely... they have plenty loop holes. I seen people get injured on the job and they investigate if the person was wearing all their safety equipment or following procedure because if any of the accidental error is on you then you not getting off on the company.

Before technology sure.... try that now :mjlol:
The more technology renders menial labor useless the more obsolete the worker becomes. That's why most jobs are "service industry", everything else has been outsourced by capitalism as to third world countries for virtual slave labor.

Walmart, Amazon ect could automate 90% of their work force if they wanted. Only reason they dont is because people would revolt.

The capitalist will extract as much labor as possible for the most surplus in profit and only redistribute enough to keep the worker working.

They might have a shot if its in a big enough location thats handles a critical shipping spot. Wait til its christmas and then strategically all walk out The whole fukking warehouse at once but that takes time, unity and sacrifice. For someone like me who is in a union i know thats almost impossible because of too many selfish people and snitches that will fukk up the whole plan for a promotion or Overtime tho

“I feel like all the company cares about is getting their products out to the customers as quickly humanly as possible, no matter what that means for us workers in the end.”
