Brandon Belt routinely gets on base and has flashes of power (mostly doubles power, but nonetheless...)

It's kind of shocking that he is relegated to a 1 year deal.
That guy would be a fantastic DH somewhere.

He battles a lot of injuries every season. I think he wants to retire as a Giant. I expect this year or the next to be his last.

His defense is top notch. I'm surprised he's never won a gold glove.

Doesn't have good plate vision but has a lot of pop in his bat

he has career obp of .358 with batting average of .264
I think thats above average plate vision lol

He also averages over 100 strikeouts each year. He's gullible to that low corner pitch. I've watched the majority of Giants games since the 90's lol

id say high fastball moreso then anything which he learned to lay off. really dont understand how you could say "doesnt have good plate vision" if youve watched the giants consistently

He'll send the high fastball to the moon which is why he'll always go for it. Belt has crazy power but his vision has always been an issue. Which is why he strikes out a lot. On top of that, not much of a clutch hitter either. I'll admit he came through in a lot of big moments this past season tho. Dude just needs to stay healthy and be more patient at the plate.

his problem is he literally cant catch up to high fastball. and his eye isnt a problem he takes call 3 moreso then anybody. he crushes shyt in the lower half of the zone. he literally has a hole in his swing to anything high

Wouldn't say he crushes the lower half. He has problems chasing that low and away pitch
