I appreciate how difficult it can be to get into the baseball HOF, and I'm one that thinks there are players in the NFL that many believe should be in that I don't.

I value peak and prime over longevity, even if it's sustained longevity where a player is "productive". I can see people not wanting Lincecum in, but he was THE best at his position for two separate years. That SHOULD hold a lot of weight.

All the mock drafts got annihilated with that Kumar pick at 3. People thought he was a late teens to 30 pick.

That most definitely was not the case last year. They simply didn't like the medicals. They were so sure of signing him that they didn't even protect themselves in the later rounds.
