So the current MLB minimum salary is $570k, which broken down over the 7 months (April to October) (unless the players have it setup for different schedule) would be a paycheck of about $40k/ every 2 weeks that they will be missing out on due to this lockout. A player making about $15 million basically gets a check for $1 million every 2 weeks.

Each player will make about $15k/month during the lockout from money saved up by the MLBPA

Kinda got lucky. I’m on an Astros Facebook page and the admin is in the know. They were gonna try and only give us a credit towards season tickets NEXT year instead of refunds unless you asked. Weren’t even gonna let us use it towards playoff tickets this year. Tryna make us renew next season

they might go out like the NHL which fell off terribly after the last work stoppage.
