I agree but mlb is saying either or & the qo hurts free agents market
this shouldn’t be a sticking point cuz nobody was talking about an international draft like that when the lockout started

I agree with Ortiz 100%.
But on the same accord they need to do away with the Rule 4 June draft & make it just as open as the international free agent signing period.
That would be a MAJOR influx of talent to baseball guaranteed.
The deadlines create unnecessary drama which is funny coming from the side that refused to talk for 40+ days.
