Meh. 43 million a year is chump change for Cohen and I would prefer a big money short term contract over a long term. Max won't pitch like he's a 28 year old but he has enough in the tank where I'm confident that he would perform at a high level.

43 mil is chump change for every owner in every pro sport. Paying a dude that age that salary when historically nobody pitches that good at that age dumb but it’s the mets I understand why
