Exactly. I heard this shyt is it pissed me off. Baseball players are such bytches. The whole point of the game is hit it where they aint. If they give you a whole side of the field open, hit the ball over there.

Next, they will complain that non-home run hitters will need the outfield fence brought in 50 feet when they come up to the plate.

I felt this way initially but I've changed my mind. Basketball has illegal defense and nobody complains about that. I'm fine with them banning shifts. The game will be more enjoyable and there will be more hits.

I get the purist perspective but this is entertainment at the end of the day. Get rid of the shift and strictly enforce a pitcher/batter clock. There should never be 45-60 seconds between pitches. A single at-bat should not take five-plus minutes unless there's an ungodly amount of foul balls.
