Toronto announcer whining that an automated strike zone would lead to games going longer because umpires intentionally expand the strike zone at the end of games with large run differentials.

The other announcer in the broadcast booth was like

Does Toronto have the worst sports announcers in North American sports.

I'm inclined to say that Albies was right about being ready and paying attention. Maybe Ozuna could have made it.
But doing that on the field is poor leadership in my opinion. That could have been handled in the dugout or in the hallway to the clubhouse.

Ozuna missed the whole year off some off the field fucc sh-t and Ozzie helped the Braves win a title while he was sitting home. They'll be fine.. but Ozuna need to act right.

i don't have a problem with a combined no hitter.. it's not a new phenomenon.

Babe Ruth was part of a combined no hitter back when he was in Boston. Tom Seaver once commented that it would be cool to throw a combined no hitter with his teammates.

A combined No Hitter is not a No Hitter.

It’s a great team accomplishment. But it’s not really a No Hitter in the way we think of them because nobody is doing a complete job of it.

It’s like hopping into a game of Call of Duty, getting 5 kills and backing out before the match is over. Great. You had 5 kills and 0 deaths. Technically you were perfect. But not really.

A key factor in the prestige of the No Hitter and Perfect Game is that you overcame every opportunity. Once you’re not there for an opportunity it devalues the whole thing.

So yeah, it’s cool for the team. They won. But it’s not the same.

Dodger fans thought baez was about to strikeout making kershaw the all time dodgers strikeout leader, instead he tied it up with an rbi single on an 0-2 count & didn’t chase the curve in the dirt his plate discipline has looked drastically better since he got traded

to kershaw for becoming the dodgers alltime SO leader

There's a case that Clayton Kershaw is the greatest Dodger in their history.
The main argument against that is he has only won a single championship.

In terms of WAR value, no one in the team's history has more.

Greatness has a narrative component to it, however. So I'm sure there's also an argument for Jackie Robinson and Sandy Koufax. Possibly even Tommy LaSorda as an icon because he led them for many years.
But in terms of sustained greatness on the field, I think it's Kershaw.
