I've been in 18 years now and haven't witnessed the Mariners in the playoffs. There are kids who are in college and never seen the Mariners compete in the playoffs. That is just wild to me.
That '01 team choked badly.
Don't forget Felix and Ichiro. Team has always had some very talented players, but it's been one of the worst run franchises.
