He was on a pace with his usage and efficiency to be in the conversation with Jordan offensively when his career ended.. Now I'd be shocked if he gets the opportunities to be a 30 ppg scorer consistently.. I think his assists numbers will go up and his scoring will decrease.. He will get rings but the chance that he'll be able to be in the race for 6 Finals MVPs like Mike have also been diminished...
He doesn't need to average 30 ppg to have that level of impact though (24/25-27 ppg on ultra efficiency while running ATG offenses will be enough). He's less in the Jordan discussion and more in the Magic discussion - players whose offensive game is from another world, limited impact on defense (good but not great) while playing alongside elite talent.
Barring injury and if he continues along this path, he'll probably end up being the 1a, 1b or outright #2 PG when his prime is over.
