Kurupt

Kurupt, a self-admitted member of the Rollin’ 60s, was one of Big U’s first clients when Big U transitioned into the music industry, according to investigators. During Big U’s incarceration, Kurupt maintained contact with him, ensuring he remained informed about developments in the music industry. After Big U’s release from prison in 2004, Kurupt introduced him to key figures in the hip-hop scene, including Suge Knight. Big U later became Kurupt’s manager, helping him navigate both the industry and the streets

Always blows my mind how bad this album is for the hype it had behind it. This was Kurupts first solo lp in his prime and he gave us a weedplate with a few classics on it.

He did a freestyle over don't sweat the technique and I remembered he was kinda a student of Rakim. Kurrupt could flow in any style he was underrated.

Overrated gibberish rapper who was gifted some of the best instrumentals from west coast. One of the biggest perpetrators of east vs west beef bullshyt, plus he's a pdf.

If we are speaking about strictly rapping, he was aight in mid 90s, but when it came down to making solo albums, you heard how underwhelming he sounded. Nobody trying to hear Kurupt lyrical miracle spiritual rapping over entire album, which is why his albums had a lot of features as well.

This forum loves overrating Kurupt and Suga Free for some reason. Come on, there are plenty of great rappers from the west.
