The only thing Ryse has going against it is shallow combat. Knack has even shallower combat.

Killer instinct is in another league. It is a full retail game, so your "only for Xbox gold" statement is silly, and it's constantly one of the best reviewed and most anticipated titles from e3.

You my friend are just being a bias fanboy. NOBODY on earth is looking forward to knack.

Is that a serious question? Here are some reasons:


1. Current Gen hardware is outdated as fukk red to PC. Hell, smartphones & tablets are almost caught up to current-gen systems. Folks are ready to move on to the next-gen, especially with the current gen being the longest ever.

2. PS4 versions of cross-gen games superior to PS3 versions & are more future-proof.

3. The $399 price is very attractive & enticing compared to the price of the Xbox1 ($500), the very inferior Wii U ($350), & outdated current gen systems ($300). If the PS4 was $500 like the Xbox1, I would hold off buying it for at least 1.5-2 years, like i've done with every other system. That $399 price is so enticing that I'll probably buy it during the "Launch window-early 2014" period.

4. PS fans finally wanna experience some these new social/OS features that weren't on the PS3 because of limited system RAM, that that Xbox 360 owners have been gloating about for years.

5. It's universally agreed that Sony EASILY has the best group of established 1st party studios. So despite the fact that is seems that the Xbox1 currently has the best group of exclusive games announced right now (most of them are 3rd & 2nd party games that Microsoft moneyhatted.), folks are betting heavy on "Naughty Dog", "SCE Santa Monica Studio", "Sucker Punch Productions", "Guerrilla Games", "SCE Japan", "Polyphony Digital", "Media Molecule" & the rest of the Sony's 1st & 2nd studios to bring the heat to the PS4 like they did this gen & to take it to another level.

6. Remote play with PS Vita.

7. Folks expect PS4 to have the best versions of multi-platform games on consoles.

8. There is no technical hardware reason that the PS4 can't match the entertainment & social features that Microsoft is promoting with the Xbox1. (Except as a cable-box pass-through via HDMI-in. But even that is a redundant/irrelevant feature if the PS4 has live-TV cable-provider apps).

9. Despite Sony putting online-multiplayer behind the PS+ paywall, Sony made it easier to swallow by not putting Apps, social features, Free-2-Play games, & subscription-based MMOs behind the Paywall. So Sony's paywall policies are still better than Microsoft's.

10. Sony allows cross-platform play via online-multiplayer on PSN with other platforms on the PS4 ( & even on the PS3) if a developer wants to do that with their game (i.e. "Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn", "Warframe", Valve's games, & etc.). Microsoft doesn't allow cross-platform play with other platforms on Xbox Live.

11. The Kinect 2 bundled with every Xbox1 advantage argument is a moot point, if it's still $40 cheaper to buy a PS4 & the PS4 Eye Camera.


Okay that's 11 reasons folks would buy a PS4. I'm sure there's more.

3. even with Sony having a 100.00 pricing advantage its not as big deal as you make. Plus with the X1 you get more for your money.

4. Glad Sony is catching up.

5. While Sony has great 1st party devs dont overlook what MS is bringing to the table look at KI for example.

6. Overrated as fukk. Will only work on your home network.

7. SONY fans "hope" it will have the best version of multi-platform games. We will wait and see.

NO, IT's NOT!!!! It's a Free-2-play game & it's only available to XBL Gold members. The only folks who care about the new "Killer Instinct" are folks who are nostalgic for the original 90's "KI 1" & KI 2" from Rare. Don't nobody else give a shyt about that game.

I disagree. Most free to play games is the full game but have incentives to buy items to make game play easier. Killer Instinct F2P is pretty much a glorified demo where you get one character and his full gameplay. Now if you want to only buy certain characters you can. But most people will just buy the full game. If the rumors of a free year of Xbox live is included its a mute point anyway.
