What don't you understand about amnestying Perk and/or trading Harden or Ibaka later. Fools like you are why they dealt him.
They didn't trade Harden later, because there's a huge possibility they won't get equal value to what the Rockets were offering from somewhere else. the closer to the deadline, teams would bargain them down because they know they could just sign him in FA without having to give up x-amount.
