I been looking online and i dont see the higher end ones people are referring to. Even the OP said he made a mistake with the pricing because he found an old vintage pair. Ive graduated up to custom suits at this point in my life and ive NEVER seen a pair of Stacy Adams in those tailor shops.

This seems like a case where this used to be a decent brand back in the day, and maybe fell off into what our generation knows as them cheap shyts that hurt your feet.

Yeah that's probably the case. I had a pair of Stacey's that I bought at a high end shop back in 2007 that cost me $250 and they were really good. The suits at the place weren't those cheaper suits that you would find at K&G either. I haven't gone to a tailor I'm years for a suit so I don't know when the change happened.

this is a pure guess to me because i really like a few of them but i think its more to do with the look than comfort. its "pimp" shyt.

terrence howard was in the last campaign i think so its that age-range them cedric and steve harvey type rockers. down south evangelist shyt.

kind of like timberlands arent all that expensive at the time, but became iconic also like wallabees.

stacey adams has that gentleman appeal for the hard knocks.
