We gone act like the hood wasn't rocking with Limp Bizkit in the late 90s/early 00's?

I don't know why people are acting like this some bogus statement. There was a point in Hip Hop where Limp Bizkit were cool. I was never a fan, but it was crazy picking up a DMX, Busta Rhymes, Ice Cube album in late 1998 and seeing Marilyn Manson, Ozzy, and Korn featured on those albums. I don't remember anyone batting an eye at it as if it was corny or anything. That whole era coincided with Eminem blowing up and Limp Bizkit's "Nookie" and "N 2Gether Now". It was a weird time period in Hip Hop, but it wasn't like Limp Bizkit was as popular as DMX, but there was that window where they had that one song or album that was cool.

That's just it. Popular music was insanely varied. I feel like.i was exposed to a bunch of shyt
I think there's just as much variety today, just that no one has to listen to anything anymore. With streaming we can all always choose what we want to hear or download. There's nothing forcing us outside of our comfort zone anymore
