I don't think he got outcoached but he shouldn't have thrown Miller under the bus. Other players around the league take notice of these things. It could hurt down the road in a number of ways.

No wonder why Karl just threw Miller under the bus in an interview.

:wtf:
Karl will go down with Andre Miller come hell or high water. He pontificates his allegiance to “YOLO” in the Sandy Clough interview the most. It’s amazing, honestly. It’s truly amazing. Karl still claims Miller’s 2012-13 season was “fantastic” and that he was the “rock” of the team. He says he was a top five player on the entire roster last year and that he was the only “five-star” leader on a team full of “two-star” guys. If you ever needed any explanation for why Karl was fired, look no further than these statements.

Karl says there was a disconnect with Ujiri towards the end of the season. He says he heard rumors that Ujiri was upset about his minutes distribution, that it possibly stemmed from playing Andre Miller too much rather than Fournier or McGee. Yet, Karl still claims Miller gave the Nuggets their best chance of winning in the playoffs. He even compared him to Dwyane Wade — which was astronomically comical.

They aren't built for the playoffs. Major difference between facing a squad once during a stretch of games and being locked in for a best of 7 series. Even if they do get a sure #1 option, will it then become the Melo era again? Though I say that, I'm sure the Nuggets missing Melo right now.

The thing about a superstar is they can do what curry did and carry a team if they get hot . A team like the nuggets needs everything to go right and stay to Their system almost the whole game . It's much harder to win like that

:rudy: Without Karl they probably dont even make the playoffs, and damn sure dont win 57 games and be a 3 seed
Ducktales and if he gets the credit he gets the blame too .
I only caught the last game in full but Karl did not cost them that game. I think he handled some things wrong but it comes down to the fact that their half court offense is just a joke. That said, I'm not sure why he didn't draw up more plays for Lawson, especially down the stretch. It may have been because his bigs are so limited that you can't run any type of pick and roll/pop w/ them. But its absolutely on the players to find a way to score baskets no matter what your coach calls.

And how did Jackson outcoach him? He couldn't even draw up an inbounds play in the last 2 minutes.

Karl didn't adjust and he did a bad job vs the lakers that year . They had more than one problem with inbound plays ,how as a coach do you let that happen

the players are the one playing the coaches aren't on the floor

if your team loses it's pretty much on the players

george karl isn't fukking missing shots out their, his players are
Why do Karl led teams alway come up short ?
:salute:

It all comes back to KarLLL

How the fucc does Andre Miller take the last shot ..a 3 pointer from the top of the key for Denver?? When did Andre ever have a shot??

KarLLL
:why:

I don't get why Karl gets defended so much ; yet melo gets all the blame for first round exits . Karl has zero rings and has had tried throwing players under the bus before . The guy is a college coach ( can utilize the talent he has to get to the dance but cant maximize his teams potential and win 7 games series most of the time .karl needs a veteran team that doesn't need much coaching just someone to put them in position )

you can win in the playoffs without 3 point shooting and you can win without a post presence, but you can't win without both. some of that is on Masai for not dealing for a proven shooter and some of that is on Karl for running his "trust guys" into the ground and not developing some of the young shooters we have on the bench.

and I know you have a hard time appreciating this since he isn't wearing a Knicks jersey anymore, but we missed Gallo's floor spacing, ability to defend multiple positions and ability to get to the line at a high rate. he's probably our second most important player after Lawson.
