I only caught the last game in full but Karl did not cost them that game. I think he handled some things wrong but it comes down to the fact that their half court offense is just a joke. That said, I'm not sure why he didn't draw up more plays for Lawson, especially down the stretch. It may have been because his bigs are so limited that you can't run any type of pick and roll/pop w/ them. But its absolutely on the players to find a way to score baskets no matter what your coach calls.

And how did Jackson outcoach him? He couldn't even draw up an inbounds play in the last 2 minutes.

look karl has melo for 7 years and it got them no where. so im not sold on the whole you need a superstar movement. all you need is someone who can create their own shot when all else breaks down. thats it. spurs dont really have a number 1 scorer. their offense is plug and play system based. people wanna talk about dre miller, but hell he didnt have other people who could hit a jumper or score. iggy not a jump shooter. chandler is hot and cold. we wont even talk about brewer. trust me, when dre had melo and jr in denver. he wasnt doing all that shooting. this denver team is supposed to wear you down with their depth. but yet karl wanna play an 8 man rotation. he should have been running a 10 man rotation from jump. now on to the offseason.

1.brewer- dont let the door hit you on your way out

2. iggy- i would resign him. but i wouldnt break the bank.

3. time to see if the young guys can play or not. hamilton, stone, q miller and fournier.

Mark Jackson is a leader, but not a great coach. Dude just gives sermons that make his young guys play hard. But in terms of X's and O's Mark Jackson is awol.

"Out coaching" is so overrated. Did jerry Sloan get "out coached" by Phil Jackson or did his best player choke and Phil's best player just dominate?

:ehh: at least the Nuggets got assets. If I was them, they should try to trade for a disgruntled player like Eric Gordon, or fukk it, try Kevin Love. :heh: Nuggets gotta get a big man, :why: ain't worth investing in, especially him making 10+ mill coming off the bench. They shouldn't overpay to keep Iggy, try to look to sign & trade to get more shooters.
And :yeshrug: Nuggets just don't got any big time players they can go to in crunch time, and Gallo wouldn't have made a difference either.

pau for iggy :lawd:
