His character isn't the issue. It's that he doesn't do well in regular matches whatsoever. He literally has nothing special in the ring. Plus with the PG limitations, ESPECIALLY on Raw, there's not much he could do to be psycho. They already tried for the crazy thing, and it fell flat in every situation.

There's about a 0% chance he could surpass Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, or AJ styles as a heel, he is no where good as Miz is as a heel, and his strikes are abysmal, unbecoming a top heel. Bobby roodes heel work absolutely destroys Ambrose....Honestly I have more faith in Karl Anderson than him being a #1 heel.

I can't even hate on Ambrose anymore. He can lose all the time and be in goofy segments, but the believability of his character and how good he is on the mic can keep him one of the most over guys regardless.

I know everyone is thinking Shield reunion but I can see them having Ambrose turn heel on Reigns to try and generate sympathy for Reigns. Of course it'll backfire and everyone would just cheer for Ambrose.
