Breh avoided the Vietnam draft

I did a lot of partying in my early 20s. Dabbled around in LSD, weed and liquor. Had fun with a lot of with a lot of women, especially white because they were a novelty but I got that out of my system. I got lucky that I didn't overdose on a bad trip because a lot of people were. The one thing I did right was to get right was moving hell and earth to avoid the draft. I always had a feeling that I would have been a casualty of war. I have a few friends that died...one of my friends was left a widow. The war really fukked up a lot of Black men and it was a sad sight to see. By the time I hit my 30s I straightened up to fly right and settled down in a good government job and married and had children. So if I had any regrets, I guess it would be not getting into drugs because I could have ended up dead like many people back then and maybe traveling a bit more but the money wasn't right for that. I watched my kids like a hawk when it came to the company they kept. It paid off because my wife and I raised 3 college graduate who are now happily married to good spouses. My advice to the young cats of today is to have fun and don't waste your youth. You have all this wonderful technology that we didn't have. Stay away from drugs, keep your nose clean and live everyday like it's your last.

71. I have a birthday coming up in December so 72 is around the corner.
