Didn't see how this was possible. Then I remembered the president is black. :manny:

So what's the economic plan?

IMO the main thing is education, i think you have to shift black culture to be more academically oriented, right now there is an education deficit and a lot of financial illiteracy

secondly, i think we have to double down on capitalism, as far as opening up small business, real estate

this guy writes a lot articles about what he calls "Silver Rights" that i agree with and has the plan black people need to follow, i pretty much co-sign his words and action 100%

Nope, and I speak from experience....:to:

Don't go if it's not stem. Straight up. That needs to be our mantra.

Nope, people should go anyway, they should make sure they go to public university or get a scholarship if they are worried about cost

But the black community needs more people with degrees including masters and phd to develop

I think your personal issues are irrelevant and a distraction compared to the goal of developing strong black communities, even if they are broke ass fuk, having liberal arts and humanities majors is important to our community, don't confuse the needs of the mainstream with the needs of the black community, we are more than happy to take in history and English majors

I do think it's important to push for stem degrees but not to the point where you are stifling people's natural creativity and intellectual curiosity

I can respect that argument....:ehh:

I understand that just having an educated community in and of itself is positive...certainly some of these Chief Keef worshiping hood niccas could benefit from some very basic philosophy and psychology classes. But actually getting a job when you graduate should always be the main concern. I suppose that there is nothing wrong with an English Lit degree from community college and no debt though....:yeshrug:

Yeah and I think the job thing is a serious issue too, but who would you rather live next to? A bunch of broke unemployed humanities majors or a bunch broke unemployed high school dropouts and more importantly if you were a business where would you rather invest in?

For black communities it would be a step up having the problem of having too many broke college graduates

For STEM degrees maybe. All the other shyt...we could afford to save our money.

accounting, finance, and economics is just as good. seem like earning potential is better especially if you go the investment route.

STEM...seems like salary caps unless you extremely talented. But i guess it's the safe route for some.

Business management seems like luck of the draw career wise until you get to the MBA level and at any decent school they incorporate the finance and accounting of the B.S. and masters level. long as it is AACSB accredited.

you can make something out of humanities majors. people just tend to go about it wrong. You do it until at least the masters level.

strip clubs too, one of the most popular "black" strip clubs back in Newark is owned by two older white women
in my youth (lol, not too long ago) I drop an amount at strip clubs (over 3 years) that might seriously shock some of you guys. Most black strip clubs aren't owned by blacks.... and the owners dont even live in areas that pay taxes to things that would help most urban blacks..

Actually, I don't know any black person w money that pushes 1 penny back into the black community.

To be fair - I would like to think that I supported a few black single mothers through a tough time :to:
