they believe they are some how of a different race to black women, the way they speak of them like black women are some distant group is weird...

It's a brainwashing that dates all the way back to slavery. Some black people think it's "hip" to shyt on other blacks, they think it makes them "one of the good ones" :ld:

The pandering we do has caused more issue than the bashing has.
It has lead to a woman that does not think she has any issues.

because no one is objecting to having allies and using eachother for equal gain. we need to be a position where we can setup trades and deals with other black ethnic groups. but this whole idea of having this all inclusive african group that'll work together in unison is a pipe dream.

and anyone who calls reparations a handout and says we should focus on uniting everyone instead of just working on ourselves comes off as suspect to me.

First off you didnt say reparations you just said you were being given some random sum of money and said it as if it was the end all be all to black empowerment.
No one is saying our only goal is to have every person with african blood bang bongos together. You're saying we should just work on ourselves and then wake up one day after excluding everyone else and the mixed of our society and go "ok lets do some trade routes now"

You've been working on yourself and meanwhile asia and white people still have been running africa and everyone else dry all the while giving citizenship to millions of mexicans and then you want to propose you "set up a deal" with other blacks one day? all while counting on reparations. because black people getting a common goal is a "pipe dream" and being focused on nothing but AAs for the next 50 years while all of these international moves are being made and thinking everything will still be in it's place when you finally want to make a trade route is probable

What pandering? :heh:
I admit that black women have issues they need to resolve, but why won't some black men ever take into consideration that white supremacy has played a part in those issues just like it has played in their issues. Too many black men seem to believe that black women are the sole cause of their issues like they created it out of thin air.

how did you read over my first sentence and still go back into the same diatribe as before? i dont think we should count on reparations, we should count on ourselves -- which is my point. i'll ask again, what are we bringing to the table thats going to awaken all of this kumbaya between other ethnic groups? and why hasn't it happened yet.

and i used the reparations analogy to try to drill a point. most groups are working together to strength their own patriarchies and culture. we are the only ones to trying to represent everyone from from africa to gay and trans lesbian movements, what is it gaining us?

i already talked about the "count on ourselves" mentality that you didnt address
and like i said if we stop with all the exclusion and divisiveness we're doing ourselves and start building the people who are willing in other countries will join because they're worse off than us and excluding everyone else hasn't gotten them very far. And we had a man who tried and did very well by the name of marcus garvey and i dont know see why that is so implausible again

what exclusion? we are the most inclusive group out, what other group is as inclusive as the AA community?

and you didn't really address my point directly because you went under the pretense that we should avoid other groups for business, when thats stupid. marcus garvey also believed in practicing strong group economics, which also worked very well for black americans.

and you didn't answer my question, what are bringing to the table to get everyone on board?
