WWE will do what its been doing for years, go on auto pilot for 50 to 75% of the time and toss y'all a bone hear and there.
AEW doing well will not affect WWE's bottom line at all so why should he care outside of ego?

Vince already reacted by changing up his developmental and giving his best booker more control.
Who knows if that’s the right choice but it’s a huge switch up.
He’ll still refuse to change the way the shows are consistently booked because he will think AEW won’t compete with them until the very end.

I think Vince doesn't care about AEW, because he views WWE as the product of his dreams; for all ages. So AEW can have their thing, and WWE will have it's thing. The only problem though with this vision, is, what is Sports Entertainment?

But through the years he didn't view wrestling as the driver; he did WBF, he did ICO-PRO, he allowed Brawl for All, Bra and Panties, WWE Studios; what is WWE, is it just a Actor Studio now? Where they are building stars for movies?

He’s chilling. AEW is no threat to the success of him and the company. He can do whatever he wants until it’s his time to fade into the sunset and it won’t jeopardize anything.
Some contracts are up next year including Jericho and Moxley. Inevitably someone will jump and get sold on that “wrestlemania moment”.

I'll be curious who WWE tries to poach, but AEW has changed the industry. WWE in 2018/2019 before AEW had it's first show is a lot different than WWE in 2021.
Yeah but given that his contract is up in 4 months, I wouldn’t be shocked at Y2J being at next old school raw
