but I'm not 100% sure I understand the thought process here that since fox news/other racists use "what about black on black crime?" argument, black people couldn't be concerned about crime/killings in black neighborhoods. even if there is this #Blacklivesmatter movement happening and police are murdering innocent people, so called black on black crime and police being extra racist are 2 different issues (somewhat caused by the same reasons though) so why in general black celebs can't talk about both if they feel like it? (not necessarily Sherman in this case). again, I get that certain ppl use it as an argument & with racist motive... but in general it now seems that if a black celebrity even mentions gang violence or negative stuff happening in certain areas he's automatically a "c**n" here ?

just rambling/asking questions... I assume ppl are gonna say it's because when black celebs talk about "black on black" crimes it usually means racists have more arguments to use....like "even *insert black celeb* said this & that..." and that the white mainstream media likes to twist shyt as much as they can. thoughts? or is this too off topic since I didn't really talk about Sherman...?

I do agree the whole "why is no one protesting when gang members kill ppl in Chicago/LA etc.?" question after anti-police riots is dumb as fukk and/or racist. but my point is that not every black person who talks about crime in black neighborhoods is automatically comparing it to police murdering innocent people, it's just that in interviews both issues are usually addressed simultaneously. you can't really expect athletes/public figures to say "nah, that doesn't matter now" after they have talked about police murdering people & white media asks em about black on black violence.

I can't believe nikkas are still dumb enough to not understand that "what about black on black crime" is a deflection tactic coined by white supremacists.

There are hundreds of anti-violence organizations in the hood. Marches and protests are held regularly. Just because the media doesn't cover it doesn't mean they aren't happening. Saying black people only care about black lives when we're killed by whites is fukking idiotic.

It's possible to be against black on black violence and racist police at the same time.
