What We Believe:

  1. We believe that Black People will not be free until we are able to determine our own destiny.

I see how you conveniently skipped over what he said right after that :dead:

He said "before we point t fingers at others"

Meaning as long as we kill eachother, we have no right to criticize racist cops killing unarmed black people :comeon:

"All lives matter" sounds good in theory....but AGAIN, white people are not the ones getting fukked over by the justice system and by the cops unarmed and shyt all the time. It's proven!

My issue is that it really shouldn't be called "Black Lives Matter", because to me, it's about the fukked up treatment of black people by the cops and justice system. With it being called "Black Lives Matter" , it almost takes away from the core issue of the cause which is the justice system and cops fukking us over.

This.

It gives them an out to shift the blame onto black people, rather than hold the police (who are eagerly killing black people) accountable.

Not the idea, but the execution. The idea is sound. The tactics they use don't seem well thought out and at times hurt their cause more than they help it.
No matter what tactic is used you will have a bunch of white people who simply don't care about the Mistreatment and deaths of innocent black people by cops. :yeshrug:

i'll take a 'pint' of that Hennessy....

i didn't listen to the whole vid....i interpret that we need to clean up our own backyards to get the level of respect that needed.
dude is a public figure that has to tow the public relations line. he already has issues with white people. don't know if you noticed there's a full court press on black men/women with a set of cojones. you see what they did to your cali boy OJ Simpson and trying to hang bill cosby. but you go ahead and join the lynch mob if it makes u feel any better.

these c*cs still wanna put in work on assata shakur

And i will say this... Generally, I don't like the use of the phrase "All Lives Matter" because it can diminish the root of the meaning of "Black Lives Matter" but I'm also willing to concede that some people take the term at face value and don't intend to diminish the black lives matter movement. Sometimes you have to look at intent. We all don't interpret things the same way and I'm willing to accept that.

So what do you want him to say? Or Not say? This is an honest question.

What is according to you the best way to be "down" and at the same time not be racist towards other races?

What he should say is that just because black on black crime exists it doesn't give a white person the right to kill a black person and not be punished for it.

That's the entire gist of what black lives matters was originally intended to represent. Of course all lives matter but all lives are not seen the same way by our justice system, we have been given more than enough examples to understand this fact.

Which is why it's crazy how any black person can push this all lives matter nonsense, no matter how upstanding u are as person, if u are black you will always have to deal with the prejudices and stereotypes that the dominant race has about you. YOU WILL ALWAYS CARRY THE CROSS for every black person when it comes to your actions. White people don't have to deal with that shyt.

That is not a BLACK PROBLEM, that is a WHITE PROBLEM and no amount of sucking up and being a "good negro" will change their perception of you. White people just cannot take the blame for anything. Yea black on black crime exists just like white on white crime does, but every person no matter what color, should be punished THE SAME under the law for committing such crime. No black man deserves to die just because them nikkas in Chicago are killing eachother.....my protection under the law should not hinge on black on black crime that exists in a place that has nothing to do with me.

If the truth becomes a talking point then so what. Stop being sheep to talking points and look around you. And once again he acknowledge that "black lives matter" and that police brutality is an issue. He just also pointed out they all lives matter too and that all cops aren't bad. Why should someone suppress or compromise their views to appease a flawed movement? I wouldn't if that's how i felt.

Richard, and apparently you as well, keep falling for the banana in the tail pipe. Stop giving credence to these backhanded ass labels these cacs hit us with. "Black on black crime" shouldn't even be a term just like "white on white crime" isn't. Crime is crime. Black people are given the burden to cover all bases just to have a spotlight shined on police brutality. But keep adhering to those cac buzzwords like "black on black crime", "educated black man", "strong, independent black woman", etc. You're a fool for even letting this type of rhetoric to have legs.

Mindblowing how people absolutely fail to grasp dis simple shyt. Especially our own.:why:
If people want to shift the blame, that's what they're going to do anyway. People who do that are most times closed minded and are not likely to change their opinion. You see people will pretend to be Richard Sherman on the internet to try to make their "point." Some black guy in tv saying black on black crime is a problem isn't gonna change that... at least that's how i feel.
