So you want to apply that logic of your particular post to every great in every series? My logic was that regular season records don't settle anything. And I didn't say that Playoff records settle anything either so I don't know where you Dirk>Kobe comment even made sense.
:comeon:
You didnt say those words but that was the clear implication of your "will to win under pressure" comments, as well as that of this thread itself.

I bring up the Mavs and suddenly playoff records don't settle anything either lol. Btw no one thought that was the end of the Lakers' run until they got swept. Hell, not even then. Everyone thought they would re-up with Dwight and Nash and win another few lol.

But hasn't the playoffs shown us time and time again that regular season wins don't matter? Orlando swept us in 09 and we all know what happened. 08-10 was the perfect time for it to happen. Brons teams were a top 2 team and he was winning MVPs left and right but I guess he was shook of bean.
If Jameer Nelson was :flabbynsick: like he was during the playoffs, the Lakers would have swept them in the regular season. They won those games because Jameer was brutally raping Fisher.

The MVPuppets advertising that season was setting it up to be one of the greatest finals ever :wow:

Dwight put up like 26/13 :merchant:

Thought he'd be a dominant offensive player after that :why:

I hate to pile on him. But Mike Brown struggled to adjust that series :snoop:

There was nothing Mike Brown or Lebron could do. Hedo or Rashard pick your poison at PF or SF.

The Cavs PFs were not mobile enough.....whoever they guarded would go off. Then to top it off ilgauskas could not fukk with Dwight.

He came back down to earth immediately against the Lakers front line the next series...the whole team did really. They were shooting lights out against the Cavs and couldn't buy a bucket against LA. It really seemed like the Cavs were the Magic's championship because they all did a 180 in the Finals. The Lakers did match up better, but the Magic just seemed like a different team after they beat CLE.

Gasol and Bynum could slow down Dwight and Gasol would punish lewis or hedo in the paint and get them in foul trouble.

This man had 40 and 14 in the close out game....

That's why it's so funny to me when people talk about how much Dwight is a bum these days. Before the back injury he was a beast. Yeah he'll never be Shaq, Hakeem or even Ewing but in his prime he was a HOF. I did thought he'd be so much more tho.....

Both didn't have the help when each were getting there

LeBron teams weren't playoff built and had weak secondary options historically + Dwight brutally destroying Cavs weak post defense in '09...Pau would have averaged 30 in a finals series in '09 against the Cavs :mjcry:

Then Pau turned role player status in the 2011 playoffs

09 would have just been epic.

Before the season we all thought 2012-2013 was gonna be the year but that Lakers team was a mess :snoop:
