What the fukk do you guys even consider lyricism at this point? What songs on this album/lines/flows made you think to yourself that Jay-Z needs to drop the mic - that the beats are carrying him. Jay-Z is very much still the best rapper in the game whether you want to admit it or not. The crown of popularity has been passed to the likes of Drake. Kendrick is up there too but any time Jay-Z wants to drop dope product he can.

So let's hear it. Where is your proof that Jay-Z is a washed up rapper.

look at my sn, I'm obviously a stan. with that said, i can't blame the beat. this album is his worst lyrical performance. i had to go back to RD and make sure that this was the same spitter that i knew
