Pro Football is king but you country bammas need to stop trying to group amateur hour college football in with the NFL
I'm from Philly....that's hardly country.

Pro football rules the world....and college and high school football concurrently rule certain regions of the country.

So yeah, I'd say football as a whole is king (although personally, if I had a young kid I'd teach them to play baseball...)

I think there's room for an equal level of reverence for both the pro and college game. Each has nuances that make it pleasurable to watch.

But since you're new, you wouldn't be aware that football heads always chide basketball fans on here. It's tradition, it's nothing seriously polarizing like that....mostly just harmless trolling.

But to keep it a buck with you...I also don't truly believe that sports should be revered by "sects"....that is, basketball stans warring vs football stans and such. SOME of these dudes AREN'T trolling and are actually just that dense. It's like those cats lack the capacity to be fans of more than one thing at a time. It's that whole "rap fans feud" sensibility transferred over to sports. It's beyond silly.

And, it's not like the NBA where it's just LeBron and Curry being talked about here, with Kobe stans always chiming in. There are legit discussions.

Jones, Brown, Bryant, or OBJ?:ohhh:.

Brady, Rodgers, or Newton?:lupe:. Obviously Brady.

Sherman, Revis, Norman, or Butler?:youngsabo:.

The debates can go on and on and don't rely solely on little analytic nerd arguments. It's a mans league with a mans opinion.:birdman:,

I don't think Temple's football program has that level of respect yet. :heh: They did play Notre Dame tough before losing in the last two minutes, though.

But that's what I mean. The Philly/NJ area is HEAVILY invested in high school football moreso than college football. I have seven nephews either in college or elsewhere playing right now, cause that's a hotbed for high school talent.

Also pro, yes. Eagles run that whole tri-state area.

The minor league baseball teams get better crowds than the local CFB teams :mjlol:

It's a Baseball and Eagles town :yeshrug:
