I know many on here don't like him, but fukk it Never would have thought the annoying dude from The Real World would ever amount to anything in WWE, but he held his own during that stretch. when was the last time you saw a fan reaction like this with the current product?

Miz had some serious heat during that stretch and also improved in the ring. PWI awarded him "Most Hated Wrestler of the Year" and ranked him #1 of the top 500 singles wrestlers in 2011. then out of the blue WWE just dropped the ball as usual

Honestly Miz during that time was legit, what really hurt him was: A. being lumped up with Heel Michael Cole who was THE WORST and B. being lost in the shuffle and being sacrificed for Rock/Cena's Once Then Twice In a Lifetime Showdowns.

I also liked that Miz was an independent heel wrestler with a ton to prove since virtually everyone wanted him to fail and he proved them all wrong with winning the WWE Championship and main eventing WrestleMania in which made him even more hateable. Add the fact that he did it without having to become a goon/lackey in a version of The Corporation/Authority unlike Orton, Rollins, Sheamus, and etc.
