I want to support black business, especially being someone who's currently launching his own in the very same industry Virgil Abloh is in, but I can't get jiggy with this. I look at these shoes and wonder just who Virgil is making this for? I'm not a fan of Jordans, having outgrown them, but they at least have clean silhouettes details that aren't garish - at least, most the Jordan brand's releases do. But this shyt? And he's charging $700 for these. :what:

Are you saying only broke people ride the bus and train? All of the people in NY, one of the wealthiest cities in the world, who ride the buses and trains are broke? I live in the city with the highest rated transit system in the country. Why the fukk wouldn't I ride the bus? Yes, I'm still looking for a whip (when I can find an IS250 for 10K, <100k miles, and in the color I want), but the Mass transit system is more than sufficient for the time being. Also, Off White is owned by a black man, you clueless square.:mjlol:

Pretty sure the black guy who "owns" it is actually a minority owner and some bigger white company is the real owner. Same with Kanye and yeezys

I wouldn't purchase them for myself, but I do kind of dig them. I'm an old head, and old school too. New Balance 574s and a Champion fleece pretty much defines me. Rarely do I step out of that comfort zone, but I do kind of like those shoes. Wouldn't necessarily feel comfortable stepping out in that footwear, but I don't have anything negative to say either.
