So Obama has to go back 1,000 years in history to find a left wing moral equivalence between Christians and today's Muslim terrorists????? :snoop:

Someone should tell Obama that we have the medieval Christian threat under control. He needs to start focusing on these Islamic extremists.

A complete idiotic statement

his mother had a PHD in anthropology

and you know young kids are very curious and ask alot of questions, a young Obama would have been no different

So there's no way in hell Obama believes in the genesis story growing up with a mother who knew what she knew about that particular field of science and human origins.

I'm not saying he's lying about his religious beliefs, I'm just saying he's a politician and when you're in that type of career you have to do everything in your power to cater to the masses and appeal to them for votes.

If America was a muslim majority then Obama would rocking his kufi in the oval office everyday

Obama is an atheist.

His biological parents were atheists AND his grandma and grandpa that raised him were atheists.

Dude also lived in indonesia for a bit and went to muslim schools so he could compare the shyt.

He's definitely not religious. Read his books. Dude even talks about religion just giving people a cushion.

I think Obama is religious in the sense of liking the sense of community. He has written a lot about how the churches in Chicago took him in as a son, and how powerful that was. I think he's like many people: goes to church on Easter and Christmas, that's it. Dunno if he's an atheist but clearly he's not truly religious.

I think atheist like to claim him as a symbolic measure, but he's definitely not Christian. He's a deist if anything.

He's not stupid. He knows being honest about his religious transgressions would destroy any political progress he's ever had. Nobody is taking the national political stage without some religious affiliation.

I'd venture to say the man does not believe in any higher power outside of the sense of community.

He wrote about it in his books and almost mocks aspects of supernaturalism in lieu of what churches provide communities by way of social organization.

Can you blame him? If I had the chance to be president and all I had to do was fake being a christian? I'd do it in a heartbeat. Its not even that hard :pachaha: The funny part is that when you're faking it, no one can even tell :heh:

doutheasshat strikes again. you can tell Obama's comments pierced their soul. look how he ignores the jim crow reference (which was the 20th century) and focuses on the crusades. i wonder why.

Gotta wonder whether the right wing focus on the Crusade comments means they don't think Slavery and Jim Crow were "barbaric." Hmmm.
:mjpls:

i was watching some Fox and not once did they bring up the slavery/Jim Crow comment. They're focusing entirely on the Crusades.

I appreciate the ether he hit these mufukkas with. The only people that are getting offended are usually the people that should be taking note and learning history.
Thats why I'll rarely talk down on Obama. The man is facing insurmountable odds and outwits these dudes at the highest level with the most elegant nuances i've ever seen

He's a GAWD. :blessed:

Apparently his mother was one of them militant athiests. She taught her children all religions tho. I never did buy the bs about him being a Christian. I bet there are senators, governors and leaders who had to lie about their lack of faith.:snoop: Hopefully there will be a day when athiests/agnostics don't need to hide their beliefs inorder to get ahead in life.
