These politicians are the egg, the base is the chicken. If these crackers wanted a Bernie Sanders that’s what would they’d go for. But they don’t.

While I do agree that voters sabotage their own interest and feed in the fears. I wouldn't put this on the politicians but on corporate money that create fear monger talking points and politicians just run with it. After all, damn near all of them are just puppets.

As far as reparations go, that's the way I'm looking at the lense. If the 99% can't even agree on things like healthcare and wages for the common person. Then what does that say for reparations for black americans? Even here, Twitter or on television there seems to be a disconnect on how to go about this issue. That's why I'm pessimistic on this issue.

We need to proceed as if reparations are never happening, because they're not. Now understand, there has never been a bill more due in the history of the world than the bill that is due to black people for the abominable treatment of us for 400 years. But it's just not going to happen. Way too many hurdles.
