White suburban kids buys Hip-Hop in bulk so that shyt is a lost cause. I don't know if we'll ever get it back with some sense of worth left in it.
It would take the main draws (Wayne, Jay, Drake) to drastically become pro-black and very progressive which would hit their income hard. I don't see it happening on anything other than a very small independent scale.
That Public Enemy type of Hip Hop is long dead.

I saw your post in the other thread thats why i tagged you. Whats sad are these posters that continually say that hiphop culture isn't playing a role in our community. They are 100% wrong. They are making ignorance seem "cool". You are right. We need images of black doctors, astronauts, video game makers, painters, scientists, lawyers to become the norm. We need our youth to see that there's more to aspire to be than a dopeboy, rapper or athlete. Lots of our youth has LITERALLY never seen a black man or woman wearing a business suit in real life. Keep doing your thing breh and spread the good word to other cats your age. They need it. BECOME that shining example
But aren't you an inspiring intellectual....shouldn't you be wanting this kinda back and forth to demonstrate that as black men we can spar with each other and trade ideas, maybe find common ground thus influencing our peers?

just ignore the threads. If you don't agree with his logic why even waste time seeing what he has to say?
