It will take a war between positive blacks against these zombies. We're going need a musical presence as well. We need some of our black professionals who may had thoughts of being rappers in their young years then moved on. We need to hear rap from their perspective. To move it away from being dominated by pure ignorance.

My movement, I'm recruiting peeps who didn't need rap or dope to save them. The youth need to see other images. Brothers who are entrepreneurs and get that legal money.

We're going to wage a war and ridicule those demons in our community, to give our positive youth images and hope to combat with.

I did, I made a thread about how PTSD has more of an overall negative effect along with other factors to negative ills that effect the black community.

So you're in denial that rappers are frequently promoting the usage of lean , pills etc in a majority of their songs and it doesn't have an influence on some of the youth ? Of course those substances aren't a new thing but now a days its more blatant . I'm not saying every person from 18 - 30 is consuming those stuff but the popularity of those drugs have definitely increased over the past couple of years like for instance a lot of these drugs wasn't poppin here in NYC among people in my age bracket until a couple years ago now seeing cats sip lean on my news feed ain't far from the norm . I don't see how it's bullshyt when I'm literally witnessing this shyt first hand

This tells our youth that if you live your life in a destructive manner or make music promoting such, you will be rewarded. Our youth sees crime and overall ignorance as the keys to money, fast cars, fancy cribs and women. They arent being taught that intelligence and education are REALLY how success is achieved. Of course parenting is more important but this music is overwhelmingly influential. Our biggest mistake is calling it "just entertainment"

for me,trap queen is more of a party record,say what you want but the hook puts you in a party'ish mood,people like the song because its melodic more than the lyrics,in fact if you ask someone to sing trap queen,I bet they sing about 3 words and try hum the rest,its just that melodic

I think that dealing with those types of rappers could help in the way people view Blacks worldwide, because let's be honest African American culture has a huge impact worldwide.

I can't really talk about this because I'm not African American and I don't listen to those types of songs. But I know that here, Afro Carribeans put African American culture on this huge pedestral, above their own. And its affecting some of them (Mostly the guy.) in a negative way.
