I'm over here in east Africa and everyone eats grasshoppers.


Grasshoppers are very nutritious. They're about 40 percent protein, 43 percent fat, and 13 percent dietary fiber. Grasshoppers have higher protein content than many other animal and plant sources like chicken, eggs, and beans.


At first I was like then I tried and ish is damn tasty

I think the SF Giants or Seattle Mariners sell either grasshoppers or crickets at concession stands - apparently it's pretty tasty, not that I would ever know or find out

How are they cooked/prepared?

First pluck off grasshoppers' wings and legs, and then fry in their own oil with onion, chili, or other spices.

My wife air fryed and added onions
