Something I just realized in another thread. People have too many games in their backlog so everyone not copping the new games everytime. Like I got enough games to keep myself entertained until at least Halloween. Prolly the same for many others. So theres only few people getting the latest games. Plus you got the console exclusives like MUA3 thats switch only so those without one won't really care. There are certain major titles that occcasionally drop which get tons of posts, but not much else. Once the winter hits and all the new games come out and the holiday news gets announced then there might be more activity. I don't see the console wars stuff too often in my opinion but that might just be a few select individuals and not on a bigger scale. The reason why the film room has more activity is cuz theres way more content to discuss. Movies come out every week and tv shows air on a daily basis. Some tv shows and movies don't get as much traffic but stuff like marvel films and GOT threads gonna get traffic cuz everyone watching them. Everyone watches tv, not everyone plays video games.

What you said is right the video games industry is not the film and tv industry the big games that wont being dropping intil later this year and in to the next so there really not a whole alot to talk about intill than.

This section is either slow right now or it's got a few months to live. 
I tried putting cats on the Discord channel but cats joined but ain't talking or even sparking up a convo so that's indicative of the posters and/or traffic.
Only the Smash channel is active since that was what the discord was for at first back when I made it months ago. Guys will complain the section is dry, dead slow and say it's due to console wars and stans yet when given an option don't participate.
On the off chance a thread pops off, you can't even have a normal discussion on here without nikkaz blatantly disrespecting you or w/e.

We are in the middle of summer which is usually a "drought" time for games.
This subforum and the rest of The Coli is going to die if registration is not opened back up.
People complain that the forum is terrible when stan wars are popping off, and then they complain when stan wars aren't popping off. I'm sure the forum will pick up next year for PS5 vs. Xbox Scarlett.
The biggest complainers seem to be more interested in taking part in drama instead of actually playing and discussing games.
