Yeah I’m not running to another country because my bloodline always been here in this country and Africa is not my homeland. You’re free to go to Africa by yourself.

Africa Belize, the Caribbean ,Guyana, Suriname, are all viable options

Of course I agree on Belize and the Caribbean.

But i feel some type of way about both Guyana and Suriname because of how the Indians treat locals. I would absolutely hate to leave WS in the west only to face similar struggles with the local Indians weaponizing institutions against black people.

I know Indians exist in both East Africa and South Africa, but their sway extremely minimal. Maybe Kenya is an exception since they somehow recognized Indians as an official tribe, but the rest of subsaharan Africa is cool in that regard.

Uganda? Visa is 50 dollars all you need is yellow fever vaccination and you can apply online and get the e visa in two days

Kenya Airways flies direct from NYC 6 days a week to Nairobi and then it's one hour from Nairobi to Entebbe

seems like you are living like a local. Albeit an upperclass one. :ohhh:

I'm surprised you didn't go for the full expat package. Normally westerners kinda corral themselves in expensive areas near the diplomatic green zones .

Also, What are you doing for health insurance? yes I understand local healthcare costs are extremely negligible for primary care and elective procedures but have you factored in more complex acute care? :lupe:

Something with air-evac is a must when you consider the scarcity of higher tier specialists like cardiothoracic surgeons, nuero(both out patient office and surgical) , or orthopedics. For example, if God forbid a spine injury from an accident or a stroke were to occur; all 50 million ugandans are basically sharing four neurosurgeons. :picard:

My wife is Ugandan born and raised so no need to live like an expat. She does the shopping at the market so I don't get the mzungu prices. Plus where we live Entebbe is by the lake alot of mzungus, and alot of retirees and politicians

We live near the main road in a compound . Could hire a gatekeeper for like 40 a month but I don't trust anyone like that

I have health insurance through my work. And healthcare otherwise is pretty cheap. When my dad came for my traditional l wedding he was unwell took him to the hospital he saw a urologist, got an ultrasound and medication and total fee was like 40usd.

C section for my wife three days in the hospital also removed fibroids was 3 million Ugandan at the best hospital was like 850usd .

As long as you have $$$ you're good

What happened to breh?

It’s in his posts. Chicago showed up with his usual disrespect and Wiseborn wasnt having it and unleashed the flutes of insults on him. Chicago got upset and banned him so Wiseborn said fukk it, kill my account.

The site was better when Chicago posts were still red, that way you couldn’t really see them in dark mode. It was a great ignore feature.
