If he continues to improve his catch and shoot ability from 3 then he completely moves beyond the narrative that he cannot play without the ball

I don't ever really see him being an elite shooter off the dribble, but if he's better than average to good with his set shot percentages he will work with other players that need touches

The Bulls are banking on Giddey reaching his full potential in Chicago. It's risky trying to build out a team from the middle like this instead of bottoming out.

Indiana has pulled this off twice in recent memory where they traded their best asset and the players they got back exceeded expectations and became All Stars. Getting Oladipo and Sabonis for PG and then later getting Haliburton for Sabonis.

Haliburton is definitely a top 15-20 player in the NBA and a MAX player. Where does Giddey project with an increase in usage and more control of an offense?

Giddey will put up numbers and the Bulls will have to pay him next summer. It's just not a given he turns into an All Star, let alone an All-NBA Player. He's in a position to get stats and get a deal that just puts Chicago in another cycle of mediocity.

How good is your team if Josh Giddey is your best or 2nd best player and offense generator? What's the ceiling for that team build?

Is a Playoff birth more valuable than a shot at moving up in the draft this year? I'm conflicted on the answer to that question.
