Philadelphia being bad wasn't on my 2025 NBA Bingo Card. If they weren't trash, Chicago would comfortably be 11th in the conference with room and time to drop further.
Philly has a brutal schedule coming up and ATL just lost Johnson for the year, so the Bulls may hold on to a play-in spot for a little while coming up over the next few weeks. They haven't been playing as well, this team is all over the place. 2-8 in their last 10.

How many players has Billy coached since being in Chicago that have participated in the Rookie/Soph game?
AKME should have set that as a goal for Matas this season. Told Billy like, "one of the development targets this season is Matas playing well enough to get into that game"
The only reason he's not in it is because of the lack of playing time he's been given. His block rate and dunk rate are high. It's embarrassing that he leads the team in blocks and damn near in dunks while average like 12 minutes a game.

I'm not that high on Kuminga, but even if they were to get him, wouldn't they need to pay him this summer along with Giddey?
I would rather figure something out with this Sacramento/Spurs trade than bother with Golden State
Spurs don't want to give up Castle in the Fox deal, so they'll probably have to move off of some of their picks. Which they should be fine doing because adding Fox with Wemby and keeping Castle in the process.
If I'm Chicago, you see if the Spurs will give you back your 1st Rounder this season, Sochan, Keldon Johnson and Barnes for Zach
Spurs then trade LaVine and another 1st to the Kings for Fox and Trey Lyles
Spurs probably say no but that could be a framework for how a trade would work between those 3 teams.

Team gets to compete this season and get another 1st in a loaded draft.
