Giddey is a good player all things considered and he’s been balling out. However it’s a gift & a curse, if you pay him 30 mil a year, while he’s a good player, his value comes from being the lead ball handler and he caps a teams potential IMO when he’s your lead ball handler (unless maybe you had a star big man). Was thinking about creating a thread on this because basically the Bulls are going to try building around Giddey and it's going to extremely hard to do given his skillset.
He needs a ton of usage to produce like this and we've already seen what happens when he plays with better offensive players that take the ball out of his hands.
His 3 ball has looked solid this season. Only way your team maximizes it's potential is if he becomes a great knock down shooter which increases his ability to play off ball with better players (like Shai/JDubb in OKC and LaVine/Coby in Chicago)
I wouldnt be mad at giving giddey the keys, at least itll be a fukking actual direction.

I mean it's still dumb because the direction is unnecessary. Would much rather try to add top end talent in the draft than try to build around Josh Giddey. The Bulls obviously should have been prioritizing the next 2 drafts.
