Ignore the Pat trade rumors. It's year 2 into that 5 year extension and Chicago is not going to take back a terrible contract to trade him and they are not going to attach picks to trade him.

They just drafted another forward so Bulls fans should simply slot Patrick into the bench role player category. Chicago is going to start prioritizing the development of Essengue and Matas on the wing, whatever tf Pat does isn't going to be depended on is how I see it. He won't be considered a key guy for this team moving forward.

AK's extension gives him more job security to not worry about Pat ever popping, that's why you draft a dude like Essengue this year just a year after drafting Matas.
