"Europe must show that it's never going to be the lapdog for the United States when we speak to the other regions of the world." :leon: :wow:

Europe must be more assertive ahead of uncertain U.S. election, Macron says

France also was one of the nations who tried voting Palestine into the UN recently.

Macron lowkey been powering up ever since he dropped this post :mjlol: :heh:

Sounds like dude is putting the country on his back and prioritizing his people first. Maybe legit leading the charge for all the West.

We need young leadership like that running this country.

It's a shame our Presidential candidates are a whole 30 years older than this guy.

They need to do something, the whole continent is in disarray. They may have too many languages and other complicated histories to truly be unified however.
Yeah it's interesting because so much of the continent has shifted towards the Far Right - which Macron is completely against and doesn't want.

One of his biggest critics is Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and she's batshyt insane but has managed to rile up her country.

Admittedly, I don't know much about Meloni. I just know the economy has been stagnant for quite some time.

Economic stagnation or contraction has a direct correlation with far right and/or strongman politicians. France or Germany are the only countries who can pull the EU out the water. (UK exited and is seemingly committed to self-sabotage) However, Germany doesn't seem to want to go out their way to help anyone. Part of me can't blame them, but their continued success is contingent on all the adjacent countries need to be successful as well.

The catch is, it's just hard to get everyone on the same page with all of the differences that they have linguistically and culturally.
You talking about France or us :troll:
Both lol
