Whats really going on is the thrift wave has fused with high fashion and the 80's punk aesthetic is in with millennials nowadays... So you either go super thrifty and creative, or you fukk with the high end fashion.

People want basic pieces to fuse with that aesthetic and they'll go to Zara, Uniqlo, etc. No one wants to wear all these goofy bright colors anymore.... Rich preppy east coast People dont even take part in the polo aesthetic anymore.

Ralph Lauren Polo will never go out of style. Plus the quality of the shirts are much better than others. I got some polos from like 10 years that still look good and fit good.

I think there are a few factors that's affecting their sales.

1-Change in fashion tastes and styles
2-People are changing what they spend on. Millenials are buying less "stuff" and more "experiences"
3-RL clothes are very conservative. $85 for a basic white polo shirt is way too much for newer consumers

last polo shirt i copped was marked down to $13 from $120 and i got some nice polo shorts too for $20 after being marked down from $75 thats the only time i ever copped that shyt.

I saw a guy at work with a throwback polo puffer coat and was I wanted it so badly. I don't care if it was a men's coat. I woulda rocked it like Brandy in the Baby video.
