On a related note, I find it sad that people are acting like it's one side that is making it impossible to observe Smooth Thursday. If the xbots are not observing it, well Sony fans outnumber xbots by a great amount. So worst case scenario, it'd be like two people being fanboy dikks by themselves. If the Sony fans can't find it within themselves to not respond to that shyt for 24 hours, that's pathetic.
And yeah, I'm specifically calling out Sony fans because they're the ones copping pleas.

That's why i have tried to ignore the idea of smooth Thursdays. I respect the idea, but most times his name is brought up around here it's with an agenda and in fact disrespectful to his legacy in my opinion. I wish people would just let the man rest in peace. I vowed to be more respectful and reasonable in conversation and that's what ive done, through all the personal insults, gifs, and disrespect I get, I try not to turn it back around. Sony fans are the first ones to come with the insults and disrespect, then turn around and pretend its everybody else doing it.
@Fatboi1 spent at least four posts in a row trying to belittle and insult me, dapping up and getting dapped up by the circle jerk, then turns around and is the first to mention "Smooth Thursday" shyts truly disrespectful and despicable.

Plenty of people made valid points towards the OP. It's been said COUNTLESS times by us that the WAY Microsoft sought to implement it was the issue. Plain and simple. Y'all repeatedly stir the convo into a different light and then try to make it out to be like the cats who simply disagree with their initial vision are totally against DRM. I mean really? You want someone to REFUTE it?? There is no right or wrong here, it's just simply opinions. You always call posts that don't align with yours invalid. I guess basically everyone on the forum is stupid for not knowing what you know and Microsoft really had goat system in place. I don't know how many times we have to say it, it's the way Microsoft was going to IMPLEMENT the changes and the current structure around existing game prices digitally on consoles that was the problem. It's annoying seeing someone constantly put words in your mouth saying "Oh but you said this!" Like no breh, I know what I said. I may post my disapproval with something but that doesn't mean I'll post my approval of certain things of that very same thing in which I disapproved.

honestly I don't even see why you post on the console wars anymore. The amount of lies and straight up disinformation that the sony stans post have made these discussions unbearable. One playstanley posts a blatant lie then 10 others will dap him up. You can post actual factual information and get called a liar. Even mods have devolved to this level.
The console wars (specifically the sony side) bring out some of the worst, dikk-riding, sheep-like, horrible, d-list posters.... and thats why I don't even participate in these conversations any longer. Like seriously I started noting the dap ratio and rep of some of the people arguing and it literally is some of the worst posters on the site. What conversation is there to be had about resolution vs performance?? I want the best possible peformance/resolution available. if I have a PS4/Xbox One then games for PS4 will offer me that. If I have a gaming pc capable of outputting those graphics at high resolutions/60fps I'll get it on that. There's no need to "discuss" this here. It's pure hypocrisy imo to act like all of a sudden perf/res don't matter when last gen it was always a point to show how the PS3 wasn't up to par initially when it came to it's multiplats. We had this argument plenty of times and you always pretend not to get it so drop it.

playstanleys made a thread maybe about a week ago about Kinect being a failure. My one reply was that Kinect was the fastest selling electronic device of all time so why should it be considered a failure because some bum on the coli says so. I got called a liar and that poster got cosigned, I knew right then the morons on the sony side ended any substantial discussions on this subject int he forum.
I don't want anybody to agree with me. What I wanted was some responses beyond "Microsoft sucks and your a fanboy" but that's all I got.
Has nothing to do with individual platforms. You see everything through console warrior glasses, then you default to PC when all your B.S. catches up to you. In reality most 1080p games on both consoles have unacceptable framerates, but devs are to afraid to lower the resolution due to all the flame wars on the Internet. The question is as console gamers are we ok with the standards we have forced upon devs, or would it be better if they were more willing to sacrifice resolution for framerate. None of you can even make it to that question cause you are too busy with the console wars.
