im a history major and that book is biased so get a non biased book. the first slaves came to Virginia in 1617 and there were about 20 of before that blacks weren't slaves we we worked in new Amsterdam which is New York. The first form of racism is the bacons rebellion were white elites of tidewater told white indentured servants that they were better than us because they were white
