I know everyone has their opinion, but I have to ask why?
I think it didn’t compare to the first one. But I haven’t listened since the year it dropped so I might have a different opinion as an adult.

Crack Music hook was so wack.
Heard Em Say was cool but too short.
Diamond was cool.
Touch the sky was wack to me.
Gold Digger was good.
Gone was cool.
Hey Mama the best song

Don’t remember any of the rest but I slightly remember Roses. Something about his mom in the hospital I think.

Damn. That's pretty crazy.

But it goes to show how subjective these things are.

I couldn't really get into Stankonia as a full album no matter how hard I tried even though I recognize it's an objectively great album.
Yeah. I think I preferred street music back then lol

I ain’t listen to Kanye purposely in like 10-plus years though.

Last good album was MBDTF.

Leaning towards Gold Digger. I don't even hate the song though. It just pales compared to everything else :manny:

Gold Digger

Gold digger

None.

If you pulled my arm, Gold Digger

Gold Digger, but that's mainly due to how wildly overplayed it was on the radio when it came out
This. I hated the drums, sample and everything about this song from the moment I heard it.

I remember hearing this song on the radio in the background, while he cut a promo over it. Like for a contest or something and you had to log on to some website to hear the “world premiere “. It took a review of and me hearing Touch The Sky before I copped. I hate this song till this day.

Might favorite Kanye album, but I'll happily admit it that TCD is more consistent. It's just that this album's highs are incredible.
Anyway, worst song is Addiction hands down. Waste of a great beat, but the song doesn't go anywhere

When I saw the positive reception to that song, I was like :what:

Probably the most overrated single in his catalog

I can dig it.
I always had issues with the first album. It's a "classic" , but it's flawed.
Out of all the early Kanye albums this is the one I visit the least

Bring Me Down. I don't remember the title but those lyrics were used in a demo track that got leaked, and it was way better than the album version. I want to say it was on that mixtape of unreleased tracks that included the concept track where he was rapping about Chicago as a woman (which was later on Graduation and also not as good as the original).

Was never a big Gold Digger fan. It's of course a classic party song that everyone knows but it's never been a song I personally throw on.

In real time it got hella played out, I actually like it more now than I did back then b/c I don't hear it constantly.
