it's the ideal society.

The most free economy on earth, but at the same time it is one of the most socially conservative and controlled.

It is what China has tried to achieve since the 80's.

Doesnt 85% of Singaporeans live in public housing? doesnt sound very free-market to me.

Everyone I know says that Singapore sucks and there's not much to do, and that Hong Kong is better.

"Pangaea, though just over a year old, is now considered the most profitable club in the world with revenues of more than $100,000 per night in recent months, Ault says."

Never knew party clubs can make such money.

My father visited Singapore once in the 80's when I was a little kid and said he couldn't believe how clean that it was over there. I can only imagine what it looks like now.

Singapore is a Stepford city state. Boring as fukk, sterile and soulless. Limited political freedoms, essentially a one-party state (though that may be changing) and a lot of censorship.

Hong Kong is way more fun.
